I am a primatologist by training, with a PhD from the University of Stirling in Scotland. I am also a PRCA photographer with a passion for fine-art photography and the cowboy way of life.

Living in California has recently inspired me to add surfing to my repertoire. Although I enjoy traveling to exotic destinations around the world, Africa remains my favorite continent. There, I find endless inspiration in capturing images of wildlife and creating portraits of the people I meet along the way.
