ABOUT

Alyn Robert Brereton

The images I photograph reflect scenes of traditional cowboy culture in the American west, the environment in which I was raised. Most of the images I shoot are at local rodeos in Central California within driving distance of Modesto where I reside.

I also photograph cattle ranching traditions and conventions on occasion when invited.

Besides these two genres, street photography is my focus when traveling internationally.

"The chimpanzee and the human share about 99.5 percent of their evolutionary history, yet most human thinkers regard the chimp as a malformed, irrelevant oddity, while seeing themselves as stepping stones to the Almighty."
